Tsansa: Mystical Objects that Save the Spirit

Tsansa is a place where the spirit which has the shape of a human head. But the object is made smaller and complete with hair, nose to mouth.

Tsantsa made by tribes in South Africa called the Shuar and Jivaro. They will carve wood and painted with natural color of the stones that have been mixed with herbs.

Jivaro tribe usually fill objects like a key chain with spirits that roam in the wild. This spirit there are two kinds, the first named arutam or good spirit and both named spirit muisak known as demons.

Muisak often possess humans to do bad to anybody, for it needs to be taken and put into Tsantsa order not to make a lot of ugliness and destruction.
